I am a grade 10 student and I believe that we need to raise awareness for the Global Water Crisis. I believe in a world where all children can have clean, safe water.
About Me
My Beliefs
I believe in a world where every child has an easy, peaceful water source. My mission is to invest in clean, purified water in order to empower the next generation. We can do that, by donating chlorine drops, fresh spring water, or dissolving solution packets and providing necessary resources in underprivileged areas.
My Research
Did you know that over 3.5 million people die each year from water-related diseases? If we don’t fix this issue soon, in 2025, 50% of the world’s population will be living under water-stressed conditions.
1 in 9 people – 785 million – live without access to safe water
Every 2 minutes, a child dies from a water-related disease
In Ethiopia and Afghanistan, less than 25% of people have safe water
